United Playaz is a violence prevention and youth development organization that has been active in San Francisco for 25 years. Located in the SoMa district, the UP Clubhouse provides a safe and positive environment for youth to grow. The dedicated team members share similar backgrounds with the youth they serve, operating on the belief that communities thrive from within. Their goal is to offer a consistent ‘home’ that many of their kids lack in other areas of their lives.
